DATE/TIME:

August 2nd, Friday

17:00 – 20:00 hrs. arrival, final registration at Jurbarkas Antanas Giedraitis-Giedrius Gymnasium (Vyduno str. 15, Jurbarkas)

August 3rd, Saturday

07:00 – 10:00 hrs. arrival, final registration (one or two days), start time right after getting control cards

till 17:00 hrs. finish. IVV stamps.


August 4th, Sunday

07:00 – 10:00 hrs. arrival, final registration (one day), starting time right after getting control cards

till 17:00 hrs. finish. IVV stamps, IML stamps.

ROUTES:

Digital .gpx format sent with instructions to participant by e-mail after registration. Also printed maps. In addition to digital tracks, routes on marching days will be marked classical way (10 km – YELLOW, 20 km – GREEN, 30 km – RED)

MARCH AWARDS:

Diploma. IVV, IML stamps.

PARTICIPANT’S START FEE:

2×30 km – 32 € adult

2×20 km – 22 € adult

2×10 km – 12 € adult

1×30 km – 17 € adult

1×20 km – 12 € adult

1×10 km – 7 € adult

3 €/ 6 € – one/two days, any route, children under 12 (participants younger than 16 years old must be accompanied by their parents, careers, heads of groups).

+ 2 € – late registration fee for all registrations received after 30th July, 2024. Also registering on any march day.

P.S. March medal is not included into starting fees. March medals might be made by the order after the march, if required minimum quantity will be reached.

PAYMENT:
1) IML, IVV walkers: start fee can be paid on site, upon arrival to the event, in cash, during the final registration;

2) Local walkers: start fee can be paid on site, upon arrival to the event, in cash, during the final registration or by bank transfer (NOTE: paid start fee is not refunded if not attending the event). Bank details for payment:

Payment purpose: Walkers Festival of Lithuania, march participant’s fee, indicate forename and surname, if money is transferred for several persons, forenames and surnames of all persons must be indicated. If you transfer payment for the other person, please indicate forename and surname of the person, for whom payment was made.  Upon request, cash receipts can be issued to legal or natural persons during the final registration on the day of the event, enclosing the final list of the marchers. Transfers by companies, organizations and clubs must be made in advance, before the event.

GROUP REGISTRATION:
– Names of the group and the march, date
– Forenames, surnames, dates of birth of the group members to be entered in a Word or Excell format
– Group leader, phone number

– Chosen distance next to each participant : 2×30, 2×20, 2×10, 1×30, 1×20, 1×10 (if one day, please indicate which)

– The number of previous participations (in this march)

Note: During the final registration, the heads of the groups are requested to present the printed final list of the group members.

CONTROL:

Control and rest points on the march route will be marked ‘CONTROL’. Water will be available at these posts.

REQUIREMENTS FOR MARCH PARTICIPANTS:

– To observe the established marching rules;

– When walking on the roads, participants must observe traffic safety rules, pedestrians’ duties;

– To be careful with fire;

– To take care of personal belongings and health;

– In case of withdrawal from the march, the participant must inform the head of the group or organizational committee of the march;
– In case of injury or felling unwell, the participants must contact the doctors;
– Soldiers are requested to wear neat military uniform according to the uniform wear rules. Civilians must wear neat leisure apparel;
– During the march, the march organizers reserve the right to establish different requirements for the participants, which they must to observe during the march.

PROHIBITIONS:

During the march, it is prohibited:

– To use any means of transport or to run;
– To spread political propaganda;
– To breach public order;
– To breach/disregard the road safety rules, pedestrians’ duty;
– To litter on the march route, at the control/rest points;

– To breach the Road traffic rules.

FINANCES:

The march is financed from the funds of the march participants and march sponsors, voluntary activities of the march partners and volunteers. March participants cover the march organisation expenses.

FINAL PROVISIONS:

  1. Marchers must make themselves familiar with the marching rules and observe them during the registration and the march;
  2. Marching organizers bear no responsibility for marchers’ personal belongings, health;
  3. The march rules are approved, amended, supplemented exclusively by the march organizers.
  4. Official approved information about the march, marching updates and changes are published on the official website of the Marchers Association www.pza.lt, as on the official Facebook page of the Marchers Association http://www.facebook.com/pzasociacija. The march organizers do not assume responsibility for inaccurate march information published by third parties.
